Weather Procedure:

forecast of rain does not change a schedule unless I send out an email or post on the web site that there have been schedule changes. Coaches, please understand that calling or texting is not how we communicate any weather updates.

1. check email - I will send one-

2. check web site for weather update listed on your tournament schedule

3. check facebook:  https://www.facebook.com/topgunsportsofthemidlandsSC

procedure:

Friday night - check fields - update as needed

watch weather during night- update as needed

Saturday 6am - check fields - update as needed

Saturday 7am - update as needed

Same procedure is followed for Sunday play. 

If rain occurs during tournament ball .. we play as long as safe for children to be on fields. At any time it is not: WE STOP GAMES, we advise all parents to not leave the area & we use the 3 modes of communication noted above to update the schedule as we work on the fields to fix them &  We then continue & finish the games.

If you leave and games continue  - it is a forfeit -

If you do not show up assuming it is raining  - it is a forfeit -

if a schedule changes due to weather on Saturday or Sunday then we are only doing our due diligence to make sure all teams get to play and we expect ALL  TEAMS to be compliant & understanding that weather is out of our control.
